Welcome to YALE Training: Specialists in Work-Based Childcare Training

About You

You will be aged 16 - 24 and interested in a career in childcare. You like being practical and getting on with the job while you learn.

Our courses start all the year round so there is no need to wait.

We offer a variety of entrance levels including support for key numeracy and literacy skills if you do not yet have the appropriate qualifications.

Where will I learn?

Our childcare courses combine small group classroom learning at our training centre with placement in a nursery setting alongside qualified childcare professionals where you will learn practical skills and spend time with children.

This is especially effective if you like to be hands on and learn through experience and will of course help when it comes to looking for future jobs.

What Support is Available?

Ofsted praise the level of support we provide to ensure that our learners complete qualifications.

We have over 15 years experience and have worked hard to develop good relationships with local nurseries. This means that we are well aware of the quality of experience you will get.

You will get a lot of support preparing for and attending interview and when you are in your placement, so that your experience is relevant and structured.

You will also be eligible for some financial support.

Career Advice?

We offer a clear progression route to more advanced levels which can open up possibilities for various childcare related careers.

Alternatively, the skills and qualifications learnt on our Foundation Learning can also lead you into employment or college.

Raising learners aspirations through career advice and support has been recognised by OFSTED.
